Job Summary: The Product Compliance and Security Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the organization's compliance information, data security policies and procedures comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. This role involves working closely with our Compliance and Regulatory teams and IT Information Security teams conducting risk assessments, internal audits, and providing training to staff. Ensuring that our organization adheres to state and federal regulations and standards and in-house policies. Will have shared responsibility for ensuring compliance of the organizations health and welfare benefits, including COBRA, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRA) and other flexible benefit plans. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development, implementation, of compliance and security programs procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that all plans comply with ERISA guidelines, federal and state regulations, provide guidance on plan administration.
- Conduct and coordinate regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all business processes.
- Maintain documentation of compliance activities, such as complaints received or investigation of outcomes.
- Assist with incident response planning and the investigation of security breaches.
- Assist with response of audits and risk assessments conducted by third parties and partners.
- Provide training and support to organization on policies and best practices.
- Stay current with new regulatory requirements and emerging security threats.
- Assist with conducting testing of the business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in compliance and information security.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in benefits administration and compliance, particularly COBRA, FSA, and HRA
- Bachelor's degree or related experience in Business Administration, Information Cyber Security or a related field.
- Relevant certifications.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., Compliance, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation
- Annual Salary Range*: $90,000 - $100,000 per year
- Actual compensation may vary from posting based on work experience, education and/or skill level.
