We take care of our people so that you can do your best work. Compliance Specialist We are currently seeking a Compliance Specialist to join our team. Under general direction, ensures Company's compliance with reporting, licensing and registration requirements as it relates to the Company's various business activities and compliance with the states' business insurance licensing requirements. Supports the Company and its various departments by following legislative and regulatory initiatives which affect the Company's industry and its specific business interests and ensures the Company's compliance with such initiatives. Decision-making is moderate, governed by procedure, guided by policy and objectives. Such policy and objectives are focused on daily operations, with company-wide impact. Responsibilities: Prepares and files business qualification related reports for PEO entities Prepares and files assumed name documents required for doing business in various states and counties for PEO entities Prepares and processes city/county business licenses as required for client sites Prepares quarterly, semi-annual, and annual client lists for reporting. Runs routine weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual client reports in WebFocus. Informs other departments on compliance issues and new requirements, and responds to internal and external inquiries regarding compliance Coordinates with other departments in gathering information requested by various state agencies. Communicates with governmental agencies regarding requirements and compliance status Assists in the compilation and reconciliation of client information reports and coordinates with other departments to ensure the accuracy of client data maintained in AIMS. Informs Compliance Manager on compliance issues and new requirements Maintains compliance calendar, state compliance files, and compliance procedures manual Establishes and maintains professional working relationships with state and local agency personnel Performs duties as may be required by Associate General Counsel and Legal Department attorneys on specific projects Operates computer hardware and software with applications pertinent to the Legal Department including, but not limited to, Company databases, spreadsheet and word processing programs, and legal research tools. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum of two years college credit and two to four years law department experience preferred.
