This role is ideal for professionals with experience in HUD regulations, LIHTC Programs, and property management. Key Responsibilities Regulatory Compliance: Ensure properties meet all HUD Section 8 and LIHTC requirements, maintaining accurate records and documentation for audits and reporting. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance-related risks within affordable housing programs and business operations. Property Management Support: Collaborate with Property Managers to implement compliance standards and resolve regulatory issues effectively. Audit Leadership: Conduct thorough compliance audits, analyze results, and implement recommendations to enhance program integrity. Policy Development: Draft procedures, standards, and protocols to align with affordable housing regulations and organizational objectives. Yardi Expertise: Leverage Yardi software to track compliance metrics, monitor trends, and generate reports to support informed decision-making. Training & Development: Facilitate workshops and training sessions for staff to ensure understanding and application of compliance requirements. Information Security: Implement strategies to address data security and ensure adherence to privacy standards in all compliance activities. Communication: Act as a liaison between the organization and regulatory bodies, ensuring timely and effective communication on compliance matters. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in compliance, affordable housing, or property management, with a focus on HUD and LIHTC programs. Familiarity with federal, state, and local housing regulations. Skills: Strong proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to interpret and apply detailed regulatory requirements. Capacity to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
