Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the organization's adherence to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
- Policy Development: Develop, implement, and manage compliance programs, policies, and procedures to ensure effective compliance practices.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance vulnerabilities and areas of risk.
- Training and Education: Provide training to staff on compliance-related topics, policies, or procedures to ensure a culture of compliance within the organization.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor compliance with internal policies and procedures and report findings to senior management.
- Investigation: Investigate compliance issues, concerns, or violations and collaborate with relevant departments to implement corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably within the Education sector.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), or Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) are highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in compliance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
