As a Senior Advisor to the Senior Deputy Comptroller (SDC) for Management, you will serve as an expert and senior advisor on Office of Management issues regarding operational strategies, strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and independent assessments in administrative operations, acquisitions, financial management, human capital, and information technology. You will provide leadership in the formulation and implementation of policies and oversee special projects. You must meet the following requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the NB-VI band level or GS-14 grade level to qualify for the band level NB-VII. Examples of specialized experience for this position include: Performing independent assessments and providing policy recommendations to senior leadership on operational strategies in at least two of the following areas: administrative operations, financial management, human capital, and information technology; Reporting on program measurements including evaluation of program effectiveness; Identifying ways to use information technology to improve work processes and products; and Interacting with executives and managers and serving as the organization's representative at meetings with stakeholders and high-level officials. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
