Responsibilities:
Develop and implement numerical simulations and optimization algorithms to solve complex engineering problems.Collaborate with machine learning experts and customers in the semiconductor industry to develop AIR.Seamlessly integrate with industry-standard design tools like Cadence through APIs, facilitating automated design workflows.Ensure designs meet stringent performance, power, and area specifications through rigorous simulations and analyses.Keep abreast of the latest developments in scientific programming, optimization techniques, and EDA tool functionalities. Qualifications:
Advanced degree (MSc or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field with a strong emphasis on numerical methods.3+ years of experience in scientific programming related to hardware design, including experience with optimization and autodifferentiation techniques.Proficiency in interfacing with EDA tools (e.g., Cadence) through APIs.Solid understanding of semiconductor physics and VLSI design principles.Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, and hardware description languages like Verilog/VHDL.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills.
