As a premier pork producer, Schwartz Farms embraces itself for a challenging and rewarding future.A DAY AS A COMPUTER APPLICATION ANALYST: As a Computer Application Analyst at Schwartz Farms, Inc., your day-to-day expectations will be both dynamic and engaging. This position is responsible for providing technical and data solutions to support the needs of SFI by applying the appropriate technology to improve processes and improve business decision making. The position is accountable for daily management of assigned business applications, including documentation, ongoing enhancements, interfaces, and technical support to support SFI's applications. The position will collaborate with other team members to research and implement new cloud-based software applications and data hosts.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field or an equivalent combination of five (5) years of education and experience sufficient to perform the essentials of the position

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Active Directory
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP, Acumatica, or other ERP software
- Knowledge and experience in industry security best practices and controls
- Ability to program in languages such as C#, VB, Java etc., technical certifications, if applicable
- Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, , and segmentation.
- Experience in creating reports using SSRS, Crystal or other related reporting packages.
- Knowledge and experience with data driven web and mobile application development, such as Mobile Frame
- Knowledge and experience with database administration and maintenance on SQL Server, Oracle or another relational database
- Knowledge of software such as , Jet Reporting, Power BI, Hive, Zoho Analytics, Qlik
- Knowledge of API processing and JSON (Java Script Object Notation)
- Experience with other agricultural software systems, such as Meta Farms, Prairie Systems, Porcitec, Vertical or Easy Automation
