TapHere is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Computer Engineer II to join our team in Charleston, SC supporting Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC-A).Experience Required:Three (3) years with Bachelor's degree of experience in computer design, software development or computer networks.One (1) year of technical experience in support of systems engineering or systems administration within an enterprise hosting environment either on-premises or in the cloud in support of multiple interconnected systems and enterprise managed services. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.Required Certification(s):At least one (1) of the following: CompTIA Security+ or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) or Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP).Skills Required:Bachelor's degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with field of concentration in computer science.Candidate shall have relevant certifications as approved by the COR such as: CompTIA Security+ or CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) or Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), IEEE CS Software Development Professional.With COR approval, complete a vendor/platform specific certification such as: Microsoft role-based certifications, Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP) role-based certifications, CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), VMWare Certified Professional (VCP), Citrix Certified Administrator, Cloud certifications such as AWS Architect, Developer, and SysOps Associate or Professional, or other certifications relevant to the role and as approved by the COR.Depending on PWS tasking, individual shall be certified as Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level II, or III (position-based).Security Clearance Requirements:Secret#J-18808-Ljbffr
