Job Overview:

As an Onsite Computer Technician, you will be responsible for providing hands-on technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for computer systems, hardware, and software at client locations. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure and delivering high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

-Technical Support: Provide onsite technical support and troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.

- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on computer systems and software to ensure optimal performance.

- Installation: Install and configure hardware, software, and network components according to client requirements.

- Diagnostics: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including operating system errors, application problems, and connectivity issues.

- Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service by effectively communicating with clients and addressing their technical concerns.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service requests, repairs, and inventory of equipment.

- Network Support: Assist in network setup and troubleshooting, including cabling and connectivity issues.

- Training: Provide basic training to clients on the use of hardware and software as needed.

Qualifications:

- Education: Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Experience: Proven experience as an onsite computer technician or similar role.

- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software. Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.

- Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or other relevant certifications are a plus.

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Customer Service: Outstanding customer service skills and a client-focused attitude.

- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move computer equipment and peripherals.
