We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Computer Information Technology Instructor.Job Duties:Primary Duties and Responsibilities include but aren't limited to:•Teaching approximately 15 credit hours per semester. Classes may be in-person or online with content that may include computer networking, programming, Cloud Computing, Introduction to Computers and Information Security. Specific courses taught will be determined by the candidate's interests and skill set.•Maintaining weekly office hours•Advising Students•Participating on college or system committees A successful ACTC faculty member will exhibit the following:•Willingness to work with peers to support the mission of the college•Willing to teach at times, location and modalities to meet the needs of our students•Present the current discipline knowledge to teach effectively•Demonstrate respect for the diverse learning needs of students•Demonstrate the ability to utilize teaching methods designed for a variety of learning styles•Willingness to promote diversity, equity and inclusion•Willingness to participate in the college's continuous improvement process. Minimum Qualifications:Minimum qualifications include a master's degree in computer science or related major and 18 credit hours in the discipline preferred. Preferred Qualifications:Prefer a candidate with a minimum of two years of teaching experience with face-to-face and/or online modalities and experience with a learning management system (LMS) and other instructional technology. Cybersecurity or Amazon Web Services (AWS) experiences are preferred. A willingness to obtain AWS Practitioner and Architect certification within one year is also preferred.
