Shifts: (2PM – 10PM or 10PM – 6AM; Paid breaks and lunch; two 15-minute breaks and 20-minute lunch)

Things to Expect in Your Machining Center

  • Machining work is low volume/high mix.
  • Able to call up M&G codes to command CNC equipment (cutting and non-cutting functions).
  • Quality Measurement Tools: Mics, Threads, Bore Gages, Calipers, Height Gages, etc.
  • Use a Tool Matrix System that has 120 capacity tools.
  • Work on multiple axes and paths for complex parts.
  • While our client uses Mastercam the most, experience with Fusion, Gibbs, Solid Edge and others are transferrable.
  • Able to conduct machine shop calculations.
  • Able to make necessary edits, and offset adjustments to programs when necessary.

Your Background

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Extensive knowledge of M&G-Codes.
  • Excellent blueprint reading and use of measurement devices.
  • Ability to independently set up machinery, select tooling, and measuring equipment to validate compliance.
  • Ability to operate CNC equipment and make adjustments as needed.
  • Capacity to evaluate information to determine compliance with standards.
  • Basic ability to operate computers.
  • Machine Tool Technology Degree preferred but not required.
  • 5+ years of valid CNC mill or lathe experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is encouraged.
