COMPUTER SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Position Announcement

Full-Time & Part-Time Position

DEFINITION:Under direction repairs, services, and maintains computer system equipment and related peripheral devices; does related work as required.

EXAMPLES OF WORK:

  • Provide onsite technical support as well as systems maintenance.
  • Plan, implement and monitor changes in infrastructure configuration and requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any hardware, software and network operating system issues.
  • Provide individual user support and training as needed.
  • Perform all necessary server and network maintenance and necessary data back-up.
  • Install/setup new servers, workstations, printers, scanners, peripherals.
  • Major support tasks include Desktop support, Microsoft applications, Microsoft Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022, printer/printer drivers, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server and Outlook Client.
  • Install and maintain access control system.
  • Install and maintain IP CCTV system.
  • Perform all necessary steps to maintain telephone and voicemail systems.
  • Work with another team member onsite and remote on resolving technical issues.
  • Install all necessary Data, Telephone and Fiber Optic cables when needed.

SKILLS:

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong Desktop and Microsoft Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server skills.
  • Strong Experience in Administering Windows Based Networks.
  • Strong Desktop Support skills in a Windows Environment.
  • Strong Knowledge in Windows 2012\2016\2019\2022 Server Administration.
  • Strong Knowledge in Deploying & Designing Windows Networks.
  • Backup and DR Theory.
  • Mac knowledge appreciated.
  • Knowledge in Windows 10 and 11.
  • Strong TCP/IP Networking Skills and network services
  • Ability to independently perform projects and understand network management.
  • Good Articulate Skills and ability to follow direction/procedures.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to speak and write English fluently.

Salary will be commensurate with experience. Full-time employee s benefits will include Pension, Health, and Pay-Time-Off. Part-time employee s benefits will include Pay time off.
