Position Description:
CGI Federal is seeking a TOP SECRET cleared Computer Specialist to support FBI/FLSD in Huntsville, AL.
This position is located in HUNTSVILLE, AL.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
COMPUTER SPECIALIST: Performs computer functions such as booting, electronic data transfers, and data input, and generates printouts in various forms. Ensure integrity and security of database. Provide hands-on support to Computer Operator(s) in resolving hardware and software problems, installation and maintenance of equipment, and general training in use of systems. Work with Computer Operator(s) in resolving complicated problems and pursuing problem resolution by either researching answers or requesting technical assistance. Ensure that all reports are generated and distributed in a timely manner. Train Computer Operator(s) on common problem resolution and special functions in troubleshooting. Maintain operational documentation, inventories, logs, and appropriate backup library. Must have experience in assigning work and supervising Computer Operator(s), and thorough knowledge of computer technology, office automation, personal computers, and telecommunications principles and standards. Must have knowledge of networking principles and Microsoft Suite.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Required skills include the ability to carry out approved error recovery procedures; excellent written and interpersonal communications skills; and the ability to work independently.

Have working knowledge of one or more of the following
Active Directory
Windows Desktop Management
Basic Cisco commands
Various wired and wireless protocols used in IP based networks.
Will be required to manage computer user accounts.
* VxRail/Hyper-V management
* Support and troubleshoot application issues
* Comptia A+
* Comptia Net+
* Image and install Desktops/Servers
* Updates via WSUS and Manage engine
* Avigilon and Velocity software installs.
TOP SECRET clearance required
Hourly Rate: $31.45/hour
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to: skill set level, relevant experience and training, and licensure and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
