Collins Engineers, Inc. is looking for a self-motivated Computer Support Specialist to join our Chicago, Illinois, Office. The Computer Support Specialist is responsible for the technical aspect of troubleshooting a computer for problems and finding the quickest, best solutions to fix them.
TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Troubleshoots hardware, software, and network problems.
* Maintains and monitors a list of support cases.
* Prepares documentation and guides for various solutions and products.
* Trains employees in the use of certain software.
* Images, configures, and tests computers.
* Distributes equipment and software to branch offices.
* Performs data and archiving and destruction.

Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
* Associate's degree in computer science or a related degree.
* Two years' experience installing computer hardware and software, troubleshooting technical computer problems, providing technical support for computer users in a professional setting, and training users in using basic software packages.
* Must have experience with the following software: Microsoft Suite and Microsoft Windows.
* Previous experience with the following is a plus: Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, Microsoft Intune, PowerShell ISE, and PostgreSQL.
