Job Description: Pay Range: $21hr - $23hr
- The quality assurance specialist is responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan; executing the plan and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met, and that the solution works as expected.
- This person will work collaboratively within the IT department and business units to execute and validate test cases based upon system requirements.
- Review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics.
- Plan and execute regression testing as required.
- The solution should be tested in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility with other internal and / or external systems.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Sound experience in software development.
- Strong work experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with regression and acceptance testing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good experience with automated testing tools.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
- Familiarity with JIRA and GITHUB is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux Operating systems.
