Position Type: Technology/Help DeskDate Posted: 11/13/2024Location: MOT Charter SchoolDate Available: 11/18/2024District: MOT Charter SchoolPosition Summary: Temporary Desktop / Help Desk Support Primary Tasks: • Desktop Support for hardware and software for chromebooks and laptops using Chrome OS and Windows OS. • Provide user support and technical assistance for instructional and administrative purposes. • Act as a helpdesk for the school's employees and students. • Maintain a current inventory of all technology assets to include both hardware and software. • Relocate computer and phone and audio visual equipment as needed.Required Qualifications • Minimum of 1 year experience in desktop support in a Windows or Chromebook environment preferred. • Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Applications. • Basic familiarity with networking infrastructures including wireless. • Be able to physically lift standard desktop, peripherals, server, and network equipment within reasonable limits (20 lbs.) • Be able to multitask and efficiently prioritize workload. • Resolve problems with a high degree of patience and problem resolution techniques. • Positive, service-oriented personality; team-oriented; flexible, strong work ethic, with a desire to expand technical knowledge.Disclaimer: This description is intended to indicate the kinds of tasks and levels of work difficulty that will be required of this position.
