375 S High St, Columbus, OH 43215, USA Req #88Friday, October 25, 2024The Franklin County Municipal Court Clerk of Court's Office serves as the legal guardian and keeper of all the official records of the Franklin County Municipal Court including all criminal and civil case filings, subpoenas, search warrants, pleadings and monies (Court costs, fines, and third party monies from garnishments). The Clerk's Office is entrusted with the responsibility of processing and archiving all Court records in accordance with file retention requirements established by the Supreme Court of Ohio. Additionally, the Clerk's Office calculates and fully details all financial transactions involving the Court. The Clerk's Office compiles and publishes an Annual Report each year that details the various categories of Court case filings, all financial transactions connected with all Court cases and statistically reports all relevant data regarding the same.GENERAL SUMMARYUnder minimal direction, sets up, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains computerhardware and software at all facilities of the library system, involving travel to sites.Serves as point of contact for problem resolution and support services for the Clerk'sOffice users using computer equipment and applications. Responsible for installationand support of hardware and software products. Work also involves troubleshootingand diagnosing technology equipment, arrangements for outside repairs as necessary;verifies the work of contractors; and maintaining inventory supplies. Work also involvesdata cabling as needed. Complies with the Clerk's Office policies, rules, guidelines, procedures,requirements, standards, and practices applicable to the job, including (butnot limited to) work scheduling and attendance, customer service, use of theClerk's Office property, computer use, personal conduct, and confidentiality.2. lnstalls and supports hardware and software.3. Troubleshoots and diagnoses hardware and software problems. Assemblesand tests equipment. Repairs and arranges for the repair of the Librarystandard hardware; oversees the work of contractors.4. Explains and demonstrates the use of the hardware and software products.5. Assembles and tests equipment.6. Serves as first point of contact for problem resolution and support servicesfor the Clerk's Office users using computer equipment and applications asneeded. Assists in explaining and demonstrating the use of hardware andsoftware products as needed.7. identifies, prioritizes, researches, troubleshoots and resolves technologyrelated problems8. Complies with procedures for reporting the progress and status ofassigned tasks.9. A criminal background check is required.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS1. lf needed, incumbent must be available for on-call status for system supportor emergencies.2. Requires individual willing to work a flexible schedule of hours, includingevenings and weekends.3. Considerable physical exertion such as bending and stooping, crawlingunder desks, and pushing equipment carts.
