- As a Concession Bartender/Attendant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality customer service during all events, achieving customer satisfaction and accurate accounting of your bar station, and transactions, including inventory while serving the busy pre-performance and intermission rushes
- Reliable, hardworking, and service-oriented individuals who can work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Possess excellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Possess knowledge of basic mixed cocktails, beer and wine
- Stock, set up and break down of concessions area according to standard operations.
- Ensure par levels are accurate of all products at your designated bar station.
- Follow opening and closing checklists.
- Accurate cash-handling skills
- Follow venue bar policies and procedures
- Providing excellent hospitality with a positive attitude towards guests, clients, co-workers, etc.
- Professional handling and communication of customer complaints
- Ability to work well in a team-driven environment and be self-sufficient and comfortable working without immediate supervision in some cases.
- Consistent standing throughout the shift
- Adheres to all food safety policies and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- At least a year of prior food service experience.
- Customer Service experience.
- Accurate cash handling and POS experience.
- Organized, detailed oriented, reliable, and professional.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Repetitive lifting and reaching with hands and arms.
- Ability to execute all duties and responsibilities in a safe and timely manner.
- NYC Food Handlers Certificate is a plus
- Possess strong barista knowledge and capabilities (cappuccinos, lattes, cortados, macchiatos, Chai lattes, Matcha lattes, flat whites, etc. is a plus
