The Concierge provides information to guest/visitor inquiries and coordinates all guest requests for special arrangements for services, courteously and efficiently. Escorts VI - Ps to assigned guest rooms, informing guests of hotel services, features and room amenities. Attends to immediate needs of VIPS upon arrival and provides follow through attention throughout stay. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests of hotels. Contact housekeeping or maintenance staff when guests report problems. Issue room keys and escort instructions to bellhops. Record guest comments or complaints, referring customers to managers as necessary. Transmit and receive messages, using telephones or telephone switchboards. Advise housekeeping staff when rooms have been vacated and are ready for cleaning. Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, guest registration, and travel directions, or make recommendations regarding shopping, dining, or entertainment.
