Concierge Position SummaryUnder the general direction of the Executive Director, primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the overall management/integrity of the building during weekends and as scheduled.Primary Responsibilities for Concierge:Ensure the highest quality of customer service is available for our residents.Answer a multiline telephone, screen and direct calls.Greet guests and residents entering the building and direct them to the correct destination.Respond to and address any resident concerns which arise during the shift.Provide general administrative and clerical support.Schedule appointments.Receive and sort mail and deliveries.Must be proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and email.Responsible for carrying out any emergency procedures required during the shift.Be knowledgeable and successful using the BILD sales system.Run or oversee weekend activities.Notify the Executive Director of emergency situations.Note areas or articles in need of repair and report to the Assistant Director.Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Works in an office as well as throughout the community and its premises.Moves intermittently during working hours, including standing, walking, sitting, pulling, lifting, reaching, carrying, pushing, climbing, kneeling, stooping, and twisting.American House Senior Living CommunitiesFounded in 1979, American House Senior Living Communities' vision is to provide high-quality housing for seniors at a price affordable for retirees and their families.
