Concierge

New Vanderbilt Rehabilitation and Care Center is seeking a dedicated Concierge to join the team. Position Summary

The primary purpose of the position is to coordinate and facilitate the move-in process for new admissions. The Concierge will act as a liaison to help ensure a smooth transition. The Concierge will act as a liaison with family members as well as the residents of the facility and will ensure the needs of the residents are addressed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities of the Concierge:

• Work with the Admissions Director to assign residents rooms and bed.
• Ensure that the resident's room is clean and orderly and special equipment and supplies are available for when the resident arrives
• Welcome new admissions upon arrival and escort to the room
• Will review Admissions Agreement and admissions related paperwork with resident and/or family
• Call new admission's family member
• Conduct customer service feedback surveys to improve the quality of care for the residents
• Inform appropriate department of any problems that new residents are having and help find a solution to these issues
• Promotes positive teamwork with co-workers and across departmental lines

Requirements of the Concierge:

• Prior admissions experience in a health care setting a plus
• Demonstrate passion, enthusiasm and customer service
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task as well as stay on task and concentrate with constant interruptions
