OverviewThis is a Night position 11PM-11:30AM 3 days a week.Good Samaritan University Hospital is a 537- bed (including 100 nursing home beds) teaching hospital and a member of Catholic Health. With almost 900 physicians on staff, and a level II Trauma Center, we care for well over 100,000 patients annually across the south shore of Long Island. Our reputation for excellence is built on great choices and empowered leadership, and fosters a team that is focused on evidence based practice, continual learning and exceptional quality of care.Job DetailsRequirements:* High School diploma, equivalent or relative experience.* Knowledge of departmental policies/procedures preferred.* Ability to work independently required.* Ability to stand for prolonged periods.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.* Willing and able to work in a stressful environment.* Prior hospital experience preferred. Prior experience in dealing with the public preferred.* Physically able to stand for long periods and assist with transporting of patients as needed.* Basic computer skills.* BLS from American Heart Association - BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) ProgramSalary RangeUSD $22.69 - USD $28.37 /Hr.This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
