Job Title: Concierge Patient Services RepresentativeJob Description- Greet patients as they enter and leave the facility. - Assist with daily reception activities and ensure that all processes needed for patient services are initiated. - Communicate effectively with team members and patients regarding all aspects of service. - Responsible for telephone and mail contact with patients. - Schedule appointments, collect fees, and explain services and charges for patient services. - Distribute materials to patients, including patient satisfaction cards, patient rights, and other appropriate materials. - Handle all insurance matters and set fees based on the sliding scale fee.Hard SkillsHigh School Diploma or GED1 year front desk or CSR healthcare experience (preferred)Bilingual Spanish (a plus)Computer skillsEMR experience (a plus)Soft SkillsEffective communicationCustomer service orientationJob TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 5 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Amityville, New York.Work EnvironmentOur Client provides the highest quality of comprehensive primary, preventative, and behavioral health services to all who seek it, regardless of insurance status and ability to pay, especially for the underserved and vulnerable. Our Client is a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia, and Westchester County. 35-hour work week: - Candidates will have an 8-hour workday with 1 hour of lunch. One late night per week and one Saturday per month (if the site is open on Saturdays) are required.
