Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies

Located on the downtown Orlando campus, Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies provides programs and services focusing on the unique needs of women and babies. Orlando Health Winnie Palmer provides specialized care that covers all facets of women's health, from comprehensive gynecological services and minimally invasive surgeries to obstetrics and high-risk pregnancies and births. It is recognized by the World Health Organization and UNICEF as Baby-Friendly, is certified in perinatal care by The Joint Commission, is Magnet recognized for nursing excellence and high-quality patient care and is designated as a Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology and in Robotic Surgery. Orlando Health Winnie Palmer welcomes nearly 14,000 babies each year. The hospitals 350 beds include 142 neonatal intensive care beds, making it one of the largest neonatal intensive care units under one roof in the country.

Position SummaryThe Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies Concierge provides an immediate response and resolution to the guests concern or request while exceeding customer service expectations.

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions? Enhances the guest experience, in collaboration with all facility departments. ? Understands and demonstrates outstanding behaviors and attitude that support the service philosophy, mission, vision and values of Orlando Health. ? Provides orientation of the upgraded amenities program to patients and guests via the maternal education facility tour, education classes and pre admission process.? Coordinates payment and confirmation of reservations for purchased packages.? Monitors petty cash drawer, daily deposit of cash/credit receipts, monthly balance sheet report and internal department charges.? Provides information for the marketing and sales of upgraded amenities program via group presentations, printed collateral and the Orlando Health website.? Tracks inventory of over $25,000 in retail inventory.? Works closely with Support Services on delivery processes for purchased amenities.? Coordinates and confirms spa appointments.? Assists patients and guests with dining, lodging, transportation and gift purchasing arrangements.? Coordinates and assists with facility tours.? Works closely with Orlando Health Foundation and Administration in the coordination of amenities for VIP patients/guests.? Builds and maintains relationships with area businesses.

Qualifications:

Education/TrainingHigh School graduate.Licensure/CertificationNone.Experience2 years front line customer service experience.
