We specialize in delivering turnkey solutions, managing projects across various sectors, including residential homes, commercial office spaces, agricultural storage buildings, and horse barns. With a strong commitment to honesty, integrity, and lasting relationships, K-Construction is a trusted construction partner throughout Kansas.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist with the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete for projects.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment, including power trowels, hand trowels, and bull floats.
- Help set up forms, ensure proper placement of rebar, and mix concrete as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the team to complete projects efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Participate in job site clean-up and organization.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and construction techniques.
- Perform other related duties as required.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of previous experience in concrete work is preferred but not required.
- Experience with skid loaders or other heavy equipment is a plus.
- Familiarity with using concrete finishing tools such as power trowels and bull floats is a plus.
- Strong desire to learn and grow within the construction field.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to work well in a team environment with strong communication skills.
- Must be physically capable of lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and working in varying weather conditions.
- Commitment to showing up on time, working hard, and maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude.
