As a Concrete Pour Crew Member, you are responsible for the set-up, placement and finishing of Precast concrete units. Essential Functions: 1. Protect Family and Friends. Follow all Company Safety Policies and Procedures as well as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and guidelines. Support business activities, objectives, and programs. Upon start of work be prepared with proper personal protective equipment (PPE). 2. Integrity. Arrive to work at time scheduled. Check-in and out with Crew Leader before leaving work/leaving work area for any reason. Punch in at time clocks to the appropriate job and product that you will be working on. 3. Focused. Review previous days production on a daily basis to look for areas where quality can be improved. Help prepare/stage materials and tools to avoid stoppage. 4. Mastery. Maintain proper care of tools and equipment. Check the concrete forms to make sure they are secure and properly braced to receive concrete. 5. Communicate with mixer truck driver to position truck to facilitate pouring concrete and move chute to direct concrete in forms. Spread, level and smooth wet concrete using rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed and float to match specified required finish. Position & cover wet concrete to begin curing process. Operate power vibrator to compact concrete. Properly clean work area and dispose of all waste concrete and debris. 6. Report and Engage. Follow Crew Leaders instruction to maintain a steady workflow throughout the day. 7. Work-life Rhythm. Notify Crew Leader of any upcoming scheduled time off, appointments, etc. Requirements, Education and Experience: 1.Experience working in the manufacturing/construction environment, preferred. 2.High School Diploma or GED, preferred. 3.Proficient verbal and written English 4.Legal right to work in the U.S. Other Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
