The Conference Specialist will report to the Director, Congress Management as a member of the conference team planning regional medical conferences, mid-sized conferences, and partnering closely with internal customers as well as external medical societies.How you'll make an impact:* Manage and track all Regional Exhibit submissions and support the US field force for regional exhibit property needs* Manage Regional Exhibit banner inventory* Assist in planning and executing small scale regional conferences* Support mid-sized Fellows conferences in partnership with our Sales Program team* Lead the initiation of ECLM contracts and serve as liaison with legal and compliance departments in support of larger US Conferences* Support conference management team with logistics for US Conferences including registration and housing, dinner reservations, as well as on-site support* Work closely with agencies and vendors to ensure events and meetings are executed seamlessly* Coordinate various dinners with key stakeholders at US Conferences* Support processing of POs, invoices, expenses, meeting scheduling, and project tracking* Requires travel up to 20% to US conferencesWhat you'll need (Required):* Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of related work experience in conference/event planning, marketing, and/or corporate administration requiredWhat else we look for (Preferred):* Experience working in the medical device industry* Experience planning conferences* Certified Meeting Planning (CMP) certification* Experience working with Salesforce, CVENT, and/or Concur* Positive attitude* Polished, professional presence to work closely with high-level executives, sales field, and external customers* Team player and contributor* Detail orientated and highly organized* Ability to multi-task and work independently as needed* Conscious of deadline-driven projects and adherence to timelines* Solution-oriented* Strong communication skills* Experience with ECLM and strict adherence to legal and compliance requirements* Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint* Administrative experience and accustomed to following routine processesEdwards is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer including protected Veterans and individuals with disabilities.Edwards is committed to complying with the requirements and guidance from our government authorities and to protecting our vulnerable patients and the healthcare providers who are treating them around the world.
