Job Title: Configuration Analyst

Location: Onsite – Orlando, Florida

Compensation: 1099 Contract, $45-50 per hour

Job Description:

iTrust Human Capital Management is seeking a Configuration Analyst for one of our clients based in Orlando, Florida. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting a variety of software and system testing activities within a controlled engineering environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and organizational skills, with a proven track record of executing complex test procedures and developing test scripts, particularly in Linux-based environments. This position requires an active Secret clearance with eligibility for Top Secret (TS/SCI).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and establish functional test cases and procedures for software systems and associated products.
  • Support functional, integration, and delivery verification testing activities for software products.
  • Conduct baseline release verifications and validations for associated products.
  • Assist with hardware and software patching and tracking activities.
  • Provide testing support for capability assessments and technology investigations.
  • Participate in the resolution of open program problem reports (PPRs) for related products.
  • Assist in site setup activities and provide support for testing in site environments.
  • Collaborate within teams to ensure smooth execution of testing and verification processes.
  • Document and report on test results, offering solutions to any issues that arise.

Qualifications:

  • Active Secret clearance with Top Secret / SCI eligibility.
  • 3-8 years of experience in software/system testing with a BA/BS in a relevant field.
  • Experience in planning and executing complex software test cases and procedures.
  • Proficiency in test scenario and script development, and requirements management.
  • Excellent technical communication skills to effectively address programmatic and technical issues.
  • Experience working with controlled engineering baselines.
  • Hands-on experience in Linux-based environments for testing and script execution.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as SVN and Git.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively within teams and meet project deadlines.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
