This is a senior level position and the successful candidate will be responsible for executing high quality CM processes for existing and future products. - Create CM Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), flowcharts, and maintain a Configuration Management Plan (CMP)
- Mange and update a directory of folders for product source code and documentation; Manage a process of tracking/updating/adding documents to a configuration managed folder for new tasks/project deliveries
- Execute and update a change management process for multiple product lines utilizing best practices
- Identify ways to incorporate DevSecOps in software life cycle
- Move to a common development environment for a software product line
- Assist in learning/implementing tools such as Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket, etc.
- Identify configuration and related documentation of each software product, required supporting software and configuration of the required run environment
- Develop process to align multiple developers' defect management processes for software development or product development (multiple product lines)
- Develop processes for locking down source code and preventing unintended modification or loss of the source code
- Catalog existing information owned by the team including previous simulation software, documentation, and media
- Tailor the use of MBSE tools such as Systems Cameo Modeler for simulation software products
- Provide version control of CSCIs and status accounting
- Generate reports and track metrics
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret Security Clearance
- High School Diploma
- Five (5) - ten (10) years of CM experience
- Proficient with MS Office tools, primarily MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Ability to effectively communicate across all organizational levels to include co-workers, managers and government customers
- Ability to multi-task, work well independently, and professional demeanor to work directly with the government Branch Head, Portfolio Manager and SSTM
- Dependable, self-starter with strong technical skills and attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy
- Extensive experience in Software CM principles, methods, and techniques
- Strong organizational, task tracking, and follow up skills are a must
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelors degree in technical field or related discipline
- Previous experience in a classified work environment
- Previous experience with CAMEO, JIRA, Confluence, GitLabs, IntelDocs
