Job DescriptionLS Technologies, a Tetra Tech company, is seeking a Configuration Manager to provide expertise in hardware, software, and process Configuration Management (CM) practices, supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The ideal candidate will have experience applying FAA and National Airspace System (NAS)-related CM policies and ensuring compliance with ISO standards and integrated Capability Maturity Model (iCMM) techniques. This position involves collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain control of system components, infrastructure, and documentation critical to FAA operations.Responsibilities
  • Apply FAA CM policy and practices for hardware, software, and process configuration management in accordance with ISO or iCMM techniques.
  • Evaluate and manage Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs), engineering change proposals, NAS Change Proposals, and other baseline documentation to maintain proper control of NAS and non-NAS system components.
  • Participate in developing CM change control requirements and conduct CM training and audits.
  • Facilitate national CM board meetings and ensure compliance with FAA and NAS CM policies.
  • Serve as the Documentation Specialist (DS) at the ANG-E58 Branch level to:
    • Ensure ISO compliance, act as Branch ISO liaison, and manage Quality Management System (QMS) documentation records for test projects.
    • Coordinate internal and external audits of test projects.
    • Track, manage, and update Branch property inventory, including coordinating property disposal.
    • Compile and submit Branch significant activity reports, collecting inputs from test directors, and formatting reports per Division guidelines.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields (or equivalent work experience).
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience with FAA CM policies and NAS-related configuration management.
  • Strong proficiency in SharePoint/KSN
  • Strong knowledge of ISO compliance, QMS documentation, and FAA CM procedures.
  • Proficiency in evaluating engineering change proposals and managing baseline documentation.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead CM training sessions and conduct compliance audits.

  • Work Location: Egg Harbor Township, NJ
  • Work Hours: Part-time Level of Effort (LOE), 75-100% across subCLINs.

  • Physical Requirements:
    • Extended periods of computer use and document preparation.
    • Occasional mobility to access office equipment and records.
  • Background Check: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and is based on full-time, 40 hour/week status. Part-time staff receive compensation at an hourly rate.
