Job Title: Temporary Warehouse and Configuration SpecialistThe full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have. Location: Marietta, GA Pay Rate: $15-16/hour Type: Contract to Hire, On-Premises Description: This is a fantastic foot in the door opportunity with a great company. The Temporary Warehouse and Configuration Specialist will manage the shipping, receiving, and warehousing of materials, as well as configure network and digital signage equipment. This role ensures accurate record-keeping, efficient handling of materials, and the application of customer-specific software to network hardware. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, strong organizational skills, and the ability to resolve technical problems. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Assist and coordinate shipping, receiving, and warehousing of materials. Track movement of return materials through SAP and oversee handling and disposition of all returns. Update automated systems to track materials and equipment. Assist in resolving installer and warehouse inventory discrepancies. Coordinate cycle count activities and participate in physical inventories and reconciliations as required. Provide internal customer service telephone support, including taking orders for parts and prioritizing orders. Ensure the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment complies with OSHA standards. Perform general warehousing/housekeeping activities to meet overall facility goals and objectives. Trace lost shipments and initiate proof of delivery documents. Configure various network and digital signage equipment to customer specifications. Assemble network hardware from build documentation and test equipment to ensure quality. Troubleshoot network system configurations, including hardware and software issues. Work with the Engineering department to develop and test new configuration templates. Collaborate with Logistics and Project Coordinators to meet scheduling and productivity goals. Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines at all times. Key Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 6 months to 1 year of warehouse/shipping and receiving experience. 1 – 3 years of networking or help-desk experience or technical training school. Hands-on experience with network and/or desktop hardware and peripherals. Experience with various operating systems and software (e.g., Microsoft Windows, MS Office). Ability to operate standard warehousing equipment. SAP knowledge is a plus. Experience with Cisco and Fortinet equipment preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Work Environment: Work is to be completed on-site; no remote work offered for this position. Primary work area is in an indoor environment, with some tasks in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse. May require long hours and weekend work on occasion. Physical Requirements: Frequently moves boxes or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
