Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Confined Space Rescue Technician at JLN Safety. The Confined Space Rescue Technician will be responsible for performing confined space rescues, ensuring workplace safety, and communicating effectively with team members. This role has a current location in New Haven, CT with the opportunity for work around Connecticut and New England.

Qualifications

• Health & Safety, Environment Health and Safety (EHS), and Occupational Health knowledge is ideal.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently AND in a team.
• Experience in emergency response and rescue operations.
• Certifications in Confined Space Rescue or related fields.
• Basic understanding of safety regulations and protocols.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Experience

• EMS: (Preferred)
• Rope Rescue: (Preferred)
• Fire Fighting: (Preferred)

Schedule:

• 10-12 hour shifts

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment, handle multiple project assignments, meet strict deadlines, and travel to client facilities as needed.
• Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time.
• Familiarity with OSHA/EM385/MSHA/NFPA regulations is a plus.
