Wright-Pierce, an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater and civil infrastructure, is seeking a Water Project Engineer to join our Middletown, CT office. In this role, you will be involved with planning, design, and construction administration for drinking water source, distribution, storage, and treatment projects.
Responsibilities
* Planning, design, and construction administration for drinking water source, distribution, storage, and treatment projects
* Provide support to Lead Project Engineers and other team members
* Hydraulic design for pump and piping systems
* Master planning
* Asset management
* Writing technical reports, memos, communications
* Working on pilot studies
* Field work and site visits for projects in various phases
Essential Functions

Experience
* 3-5 years of previous engineering experience working on a variety of water projects
* Commensurate experience with local, state, and federal regulatory and funding processes
* MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
* AutoCAD and GIS knowledge is a plus
Education
* B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Certifications
* Engineer in Training Certification
