Construction Account Manager/Estimator - Full-timeLocation: Perryville, MORequired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales or customer service.
- 2 years in construction contracting business and 5 years in direct sales or equivalent.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook applications.
- Ability to transport self to construction sites and withstand noisy, dusty environments.
- Work conducted in office/field settings with sedentary to moderate physical effort.
- Occasionally required to lift, carry, or otherwise move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand at the work area or booth for extended periods.
- Minimal overnight travel may be required.
Job Description
- Conduct direct, face-to-face sales targeting various industry professionals in need of building components.
- Prepare and present bids, proposals, and estimates.
- Actively prospect and develop new clients while nurturing existing accounts.
- Analyze sales area opportunities and develop marketing focus within the assigned territory.
- Regularly visit clients and prospects, promoting awareness of products and services.
- Document lead generation and all pertinent account/prospect activity in the CRM system.
- Evaluate area competition and maintain awareness of competitive position.
- Conduct business with integrity and proactively address customer concerns.
- The main geographical sales territory will be the Greater St. Louis, MO area.
