Job Title: Construction AdministratorJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Administrator to join our architecture firm. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing construction projects, ensuring they meet the design intent, quality standards, and client expectations. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. - Ensure compliance with architectural plans, specifications, and standards. - Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure work is being performed as per plans. - Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to address any issues or changes. - Review and approve construction documents, drawings, and specifications. - Monitor project budgets and schedules, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints. - Manage construction contracts and change orders. - Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes. - Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. - 8+ years of experience in construction administration or a related role. - Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. - Proficiency in construction management software and tools. - Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings. - Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Experience: - Certification in construction management or a related field. The role involves frequent site visits and meetings.
