Construction Administrator
: Job Details :

We are seeking a mid-senior level, experienced Architectural Construction Administrator for multifamily and Senior Living projects to work for an architectural firm in their Dallas, TX office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Attend project kick off meetings

• Apply lessons learned form other projects and share with team of architects

• Observe the construction work for conformance to drawings and specifications.

• Process the contractor's shop drawings, product data, and samples.

• Review the results of construction tests and inspections.

• Evaluate contractor request for payments.

• Handle requests for changes during construction.

• Address and resolve claims brought by the owner or contractor.

• Administer the completion and closeout process for the owner.

• Monitor post construction warranty requests.

• Write monthly reports.

• Respond to RFI's

• Monitor budget conformity

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture or Construction from an accredited University is preferred.

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in CA

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Negotiating and interpreting contractual agreements

• Working knowledge of Bluebeam

• Be able to manage the Specs using specmasterlink

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Experience with multifamily and/or senior living projects highly desired.
