An industry leading General Contractor is looking for an Construction Assistant Project Manager who has large-scale commercial construction projects experience. Applicable project experience for this Assistant Project Manager could include a work history of healthcare, education, multifamily, hospitality, mid/high-rise or a diverse commercial background . This is a great opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to develop into their own PM role and reach your career goals! Qualifications for Assistant Project Manager (APM) :
- 3+ years of experience preferred as acting Assistant Project Manager
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
- Projects of $20MM or more desirable
- Stable work history with relatable previous experience
- Strong ground-up commercial construction experience (renovation work will also be considered)
Responsibilities for Assistant Project Manager (APM) :
- Ensuring project success including safety, schedule, profitability, quality and customer satisfaction
- Assuring business development with client contacts, relationships, proposals, presentations and negotiations
- Establish professional working relationships with owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors
- Administering contract terms and conditions, contract documents, subcontract agreements, purchase order agreements, etc.
- Coordination with the appropriate team members and business clientele
