Construction Carpenters (5 years of Experience Required)

* Guaranteed 40 Hours per week

Carpenter Qualifications:
* Valid Driver's License/acceptable driving record
* At least 5 years of proven, on-the-job residential carpentry and remodeling experience REQUIRED
* High school diploma or GED equivalent
* Must be able to pass a drug screen and an extensive criminal background check (No Felonies or Major Misdemeanors)
* Reside within a 30-mile radius of the Swartz office in Lima, OH
* The knowledge and skills to perform all aspects of residential carpentry processes.
* A strong working knowledge of carpentry principles, building materials and construction processes from foundation to finish.
* Demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude
* Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment
* Flexibility to work overtime or on weekends in emergency situations
* Physical stamina to handle prolonged standing, bending, and lifting.
Carpenter Key Responsibilities/Duties:
* Perform carpentry duties effectively & efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining a high level of workmanship
* Perform multiple carpentry tasks: drywall (hanging & finishing), interior trim, tile, cabinetry installation, siding, window & door installation, framing, flooring, painting, light plumbing & electrical, etc.
* Follow the scope of work for the project, communicate any issues/changes to the project manager
* ON-CALL responsibilities 1 week per month to respond to after hours/weekend emergency calls
* Produce quality work which consistently meets the company's standards and expectations
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow the established safety rules.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures.
