What to Expect: Our paid Spring Co-op gives you the opportunity to work on-site to oversee one of our many construction sites and gain real-world experience in the multi-family housing industry outside of the classroom. You'll have the opportunity to be involve in multiple facets of construction, from conception to completion of a project while working closely with the Project Superintendent and Project Manager. You'll develop transferable skills and learn how to talk about those skills confidently in an interview, evaluate career options, expand your professional network, and gain tips and tricks for success from NRP Construction leaders. Each student will report to an assigned manager to develop goals, gather feedback, and receive support throughout the co-op.

Project sites will vary across many of our growing markets including, but not limited to: Florida, Mid-Atlantic, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, and Texas

Throughout the Construction Co-op, students will:

* Procure, receive, track, distributes, seek approval as necessary, and approve shop drawing and submittals.

* Maintain the shop drawing log showing items submitted, date submitted, date approved, and date returned to subcontractor.

* Produce daily reports and other reports.

* Assist superintendent in daily duties of scheduling, quality control assurance, solving plan conflicts, coordinating inspections, and interfacing with 3rd party inspection agencies.

* Maintain a record of field work orders and change orders and their impact upon job cost and the construction schedule.

* Obtain, assemble, distribute, and file all as-built drawings, warranties, certificates of occupancy, and final lien releases for the project.

* Gain exposure to leading industry software, such as Procore.

After the program: At the completion of your co-op, you will have the opportunity to pursue a career within The NRP Group following graduation.

Requirements:

Education: Must be currently enrolled as an active student in pursuit of undergraduate or graduate-level degree in Construction, Construction Management, Construction Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, or relevant field conferred by June 2026. Rising Juniors and Seniors strongly preferred.

Experience:

* Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities.

* Demonstrated interest and passion for the Construction and Real Estate industry.

* Previous internship/work experience in construction environment, inspector guidelines or safety precaution.

Knowledge & Skills:

* Proven adaptability to changing strategies and priorities.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to negotiate with others.

* Ability to read and understand blueprints.

* Can collaborate with people of diverse backgrounds.

Additional Requirements:

* Must be available to work 40 hours/week for the duration of your Spring college semester.

* Sponsorship for work visas are not available for this program.
