Job DetailsResponsibilities: Conduct technical quality assurance reviews of Contract Documents.Review submittals and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs).Evaluate contractor cost proposals.Represent the firm in construction meetings.Must have a thorough understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) system fundamentals, interdisciplinary coordination between engineering and architecture, engineering calculations, equipment selection and scheduling, specifications, cost estimating, and contract documentation.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university.At least 5 years of experience in mechanical building design, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.Knowledge of commercial construction contracts (AIA, EJCDC).Strong technical design and engineering expertise.Excellent work ethic with strong organizational skills.Preferred Qualifications:CDT or CCCA certificationMechanical design or project management experienceCost estimating experienceInterested in hearing more?
