Wallick Construction is currently seeking a Construction Contract and Compliance Specialist for a full-time opportunity in our Construction Support Team. These values are:CareCharacterCollaborationBenefits:Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Pay on-demand (access your money as soon as you earn it)Paid Parental LeavePaid time off & Holiday PayHealth, Dental and Vision insurance effective the first day of the next pay period following the date of hire, typically within 2 weeks.Company provided uniforms.Gym membership or Fitness equipment reimbursementCompany paid life and long-term disability insurance.Voluntary life, short-term disability, accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity coverage401(k) with a company match after 90 daysTuition reimbursementEmployee Referral BonusHow You will Contribute: In accordance with the Wallick Mission and Values, this position ensures that all construction Subcontracts, Purchase Orders, Change Orders, Submittals, RFIs, Insurance Certificates, and other project related documents are processed properly.Your Responsibilities:Generate subcontracts and purchase orders including appropriate schedules.Maintain proof of vendor liability insurance and workers compensation coverages for each specific project to ensure compliance with Wallick insurance requirements.Assemble a close out / warranty binder for each completed project.Manage various Procore tools including Drawings, Specification, Submittals, RFIs, etc.Collect, track, and determine compliance with all project related documents and requirements within given time constraints with limited manager input.Independently determine if/when other internal or external team members must be included in critical decisions that may affect other departments and/or assigned properties. Decisions have potential financial impact on project performance.Participate in onboarding and training of future Construction Contract and Compliance Specialists, Contract Administrators, and Interns.Success Criteria:Requires a Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience in a similar role.Independently manage time and responsibilities to ensure that deadlines are met.Must possess proficiency in operating a computer and Adobe Pro.Must demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office software, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.Experience in accounting software and Procore are preferred.Must have good written and verbal communication skills.Must possess the ability to apply basic mathematical concepts and operations to tasks.Must be able to track and organize contracts, waivers, change orders, etc.Licenses/Certifications/Registrations:Valid Drivers License.Notary Public a plus.Candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.#J-18808-Ljbffr
