Job Description:
An Automotive client in the Greensboro, NC is seeking a Construction Coordinator to come in and manage the project, teams, and scope for the installation and building of a state-of-the-art battery plant. This resource will be responsible for being out of the field supporting the lifecycle of the construction project as well as the general contractors and subcontractors.Detailed Description of Responsibilities:Supervises heavy industrial equipment installation site Coordinate communications between owner and installation general contractor.Coordinates heavy equipment installation scheduling and communication with general contractor.Manage GC's RFI (Requests for Information) and owner's CCR (Criteria Change Requests)Manage intake and processing of field change orders.Author equipment installation scope of work and bid packages, including compilation of necessary inputs from Production Engineering.Develop budgetary estimates for scope of equipment installation bid packages.May be responsible for developing schedules and ordering materials.Coordinate weekend/shutdown work plans with contractors, facilities, NAMC shops, PC, and PE.Have knowledge of heavy industrial equipment installation methods.Have knowledge of connecting electrical, piping, mechanical and HVAC services to heavy industrial equipment.Develop project status reports for management review.Monitor equipment installation methods for confirmation that installation meets Toyota specifications and expectations.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Required Skills & Experience- 5+ years of experience in industrial construction (installation of heavy industrial equipment preferred)- Experience with scope of work, bid packages, RFI's, and CCR's- Understands mechanical and electrical systems- Strong technical knowledge of heavy industrial equipment installation and connection to facility equipment like HVAC, piping, plumbing, etc. Nice to Have Skills & Experience- Associates or bachelor's degree in a related field- Software experience: Autodesk 2D and 3D CAD software, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project.- Battery Plant specific background- Experience with industrial steel Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
