Title: Construction CoordinatorLocation: Georgetown, KY 40324Working hours: First shift: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EDTDuration: 12 months with a possibility of extension JOB Description of responsibilities:Work closely with equipment project leaders to determine construction requirements.Organize, plan, and prioritize work with multiple contractors to maintain safety, quality, schedule and budget.Create project estimates, scopes, bid packages, and schedules. Logically arrange bid packages to optimize kpi achievement (safety, cost, schedule).Coordinate construction work with other ongoing activities. Represent construction in work planning meetings.Confirm contractor safe work practices by reviewing Job Safety Analyses and the work being performed, ensure compliance with client Construction Safety Requirements.Inspect installations for adherence to the Body Weld Installation Manual.Evaluate Construction Contractor performance on Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost and Environmental. Qualifications:10-15 years' experience in industrial construction and equipment installation, automotive preferred.Experience managing safety for construction work.Skills required: Problem solving, time management, technical communication.Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.Ability to work weekends, holidays, and off shifts as typical work is conducted on non- production times.The position is home-based in TMMK Georgetown but must be able to support with mandatory dispatch to other North American facilities (e.g. Huntsville, San Antonio, Cambridge and Woodstock Ontario). Additional desired qualifications:Background in an industrial construction trade (millwright/ironworker, electrician, pipefitter).Experience overseeing multiple trades.Estimating experience.Knowledge of ICI agreements, experience with unionized trades.AutoCAD experience. Additional Notes:Construction project lead for Body Weld Equipment installations, relocations, and demolitions at North American plants.The resource must be 70/80% site on construction site and 30/20% at desk.Strong MS suite skills (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint).Industrial (Must have) and Automotive background (Nice to have).Self-starter, wo can work independently and with team.Someone who is flexible with shift timing.Responsible for taking their upcoming projects.Receive equipment from the vendor, and can installResponsible for contractor/vendors performance quality checks.Bachelor's degree: High School Diploma or EquivalentOvertime: Yes, (40% during, weekend, odd hours, shutdown and holidays)Travel: YesWhat percentage or how often: 10%Where will they need to travel: Domestic and InternationalIf International, to/from which countries: Canada and MexicoWill it be for meetings/observation: Would be for core function, manage construction related work #TB_EN
