Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional with a passion for coordinating construction projects? Join our team at the leading flooring contractor in Kinston, NC, as a Construction Coordinator! In this role, you'll be key in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects fromstart to finish.This position is essential in ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget, while facilitating communication and coordination among project stakeholders. You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining project plans, tracking progress, managing resources, and ensuring that every task is completed efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Project Planning & CoordinationAssist in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets.Coordinate project tasks and resources to keep everything on track.Monitor project progress, addressing potential issues early on.Organize and lead project meetings, including cross-functional team collaborations.Prepare and share status reports with key stakeholders.Communication & CollaborationServe as the go-to contact for project communication between teams, clients, and partners.Keep detailed project documentation, such as contracts, invoices, and meeting notes.Act as a liaison between project teams and external/internal departments.Administrative SupportManage essential project admin tasks, including document control and data entry.Assist with preparing presentations and materials for project updates.Track and process invoices and payments related to projects.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field, Associates Degree in related field, OR diploma PLUS strong related experience.Experience: 2-4 years of strong administrative support and coordinating experience, ideally within the construction or similar industry.Skills:Strong organizational and time management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in project management software and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDetail-oriented with a focus on accuracyStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsKey Competencies:Collaboration: Works well with others to achieve shared goalsCommunication: Communicates clearly and effectively with individuals and teamsCustomer Focus: Dedicated to meeting customer needsOrganization: Capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficientlyProblem-Solving: Resolves issues quickly and effectivelyProject Management: Applies project management principles to ensure successReady to be a part of a dynamic team where your skills make a difference?
