We are looking for a Construction Coordinator to join our team!

Job Summary:

The Construction Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all construction activities including but not limited to: design, permitting, build, and cutover of OSP projects. The Construction Coordinator must be highly detailed, communicative, collaborative, task driven and comfortable working with technology. This role requires self-motivation and strong project coordination experience in order to contribute to all areas of expertise with various cross-functional teams.

Essential Duties:

* Tracks project objectives by reviewing tasks, conferring with management and communicating with contractors;

* Assigns tasks to internal and external teams including contractor resources;

* Supports construction manager in the field with newly acquired information and updates of progress;

* Participates in project calls and provides updates where applicable;

* Collects updates from construction contractors in the field and provides status reports;

* Reports on specific project milestones, risks, and issues;

* Communicates with all teams involved and drive progress for each project;

* Manages data within proprietary software;

* Interacts daily with stakeholders to interpret their needs and requirements;

* Checks and responds to emails;

* Able to work necessary hours as required to meet project deadlines;

* Travels to customer sites, project areas, business related events, and other Ritter Communications locations as required;

* Other related duties and projects as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Knowledge of company policies and procedures;

* Knowledge of telecommunications network design and construction practices;

* Knowledge of various operating systems, Word, Excel, Explorer and Outlook;

* Strong organization and time management skills;

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details;

* Proficient in the use of appropriate project management reporting and tracking software;

* Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently;

* Flexible during times of change;

* Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating;

* Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments;

* Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities;

* Ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise;

* Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial;

* Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential;

* Ability to travel for business requirements; must possess a valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent required; three years of OSP construction work experience and/or demonstrated proficiency equal to job knowledge skills and abilities required.
