Role Description

The Construction Development Associate will be responsible for supporting all development and construction activities at 60G. You will work closely with our development and construction team, assisting in the coordination and implementation of capital improvement projects from inception to completion

Responsibilities include

Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating construction projects by consulting with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.

Document Management: Support the maintenance and organization of project documentation, including permits, contracts, drawings, and specifications.

Site Inspections: Participate in site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Budget Tracking: Assist in monitoring project budgets by tracking expenses, reviewing invoices, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Schedule Management: Support the development and maintenance of project schedules, ensuring that construction activities are completed on time and within budget.

Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis on construction materials, methods, and technologies to support informed decision-making and optimize project outcomes.

Communication: Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and information exchange throughout the project lifecycle.

Problem Solving: Assist in identifying and resolving construction-related challenges by proposing creative solutions and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled or having a bachelors or masters degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Meticulous with excellent organizational and time management skills.

Basic understanding of construction principles, methods, and terminology.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Project, Procure and other management software.

Prior internship or coursework related to construction development is preferred but not required.

2-3 years of building development and or construction related professional experience.

Compensation $75,000 to $90,000 per year, based on level of experience.
