**Job Description:**
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Construction Director** to join our team! In this role, you will manage all on-site field construction activities associated with the completion of a large project (construction value $500M+), ensuring maximum efficiency and timely execution.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Direct the overall planning of construction activities to identify critical milestones and priorities.
+ Determine budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule.
+ Ensure the timely availability of subcontractors and major construction equipment to maximize efficiency and productivity.
+ Establish assignments for Construction Superintendents and monitor progress, recommending corrective action as necessary.
+ Conduct performance evaluations and recommend promotions and salary actions.
+ Manage the assignment of manpower, materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency, maintain schedules, and meet budget goals.
+ Stay alert to potential problem areas and take preventative action to ensure that critical milestones are met for each phase of the project.
+ Ensure the use of sound construction practices to attain required quality control at maximum efficiency and minimum cost.
+ Prepare periodic reports summarizing progress of construction activities for higher-level management and clients, including formal presentations.
+ Ensure effective implementation of all company and client policies and procedures, including labor relations policies.
+ Serve as the primary contact with client representatives, subcontractors, and government representatives for construction-related activities.
+ Maintain strong client and community relations.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field (or equivalent construction-related work experience).
+ Typically, 15+ years of experience in field construction is required.
+ Experience in the construction of large civil/structural and/or industrial projects at domestic and/or foreign locations is preferred.
+ Extensive knowledge of construction-related processes, industry practices, and the technical aspects of all facilities to be erected.
+ Demonstrated effective managerial capability.
+ Strong written and oral communication skills.
+ Willingness to relocate to construction site locations as needed.
**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Experience in the construction of large-scale civil/structural and/or industrial projects at domestic and/or international locations.
+ Proven ability to manage complex construction projects and teams effectively.
+ Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to establish and maintain strong client and community relations.

Salary Range:
$126,600.00 - $227,900.00
