POSITION SUMMARYUnder the direction of the foreperson, grading equipment operators will be responsible for operating several types of road construction equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
This equipment may include, but is not limited to front-end loaders, bulldozers, motor graders, rollers, and other pieces of excavating equipment.On the job training will provide the knowledge and skills to become a productive member of one of our crews with the potential for advancement opportunities.This position is a full-time seasonal, working April/May through November (weather permitting). This position requires working overtime and some Saturdays. Local and regional travel opportunities are available.

Position Requirements- One or more years inoperating road or excavating construction equipment is required and/or a technicalschool degree in Heavy Equipment Operation, primarily:
- Front-end loader
- Bulldozer
- Motor grader
- Ability to understand grades from plans, slopes andidentify potential conflicts
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to obtain Commercial Driver's License (CDL), ifrequired
- Physical ability to work in all seasonal weather and environmental conditions
- Abilityto listen and take direction from others while being a team player andhelping to train less experienced employees
