We are looking for a Construction Equipment Operator for our Construction Company located in Buckner, KY.
Our ideal candidate will have experience running excavators, know how to dig online and to grade and be an expert at benching and sloping. Our Safety expectations prevent us from digging in a manner that could put someone at risk. You must also be able to pass all required pre-employment screens including a background check with MVR (driving record) and eleven-panel drug screen.
Applicants must also be able to provide reliable daily transportation to and from work where hours are early morning through the afternoon, Monday through Friday (varies slightly by project and season). However, due to the industrial nature of our clients and projects, candidates must be able to work when scheduled overtime, weekends, or off-shift hours. Based on project location, some travel may be necessary.

Here is what we are looking for and need:
* Operates heavy equipment machinery such as: skid steer, backhoe (front and rear bucket), excavator (mini and large), telehandler, roller compactor, dozer, and trac loader.
* Prepares equipment and conducts routine inspections prior to operation to ensure it is safe and in working condition.
* Identifies and addresses potential safety hazards.
* Adheres to all safety protocols and regulations.
* Utilize site level, laser level and grade rod.
* Read and interpret prints and civil, structural and underground utilities.
* Plan excavation and spoils management operations.
* Excavate footings, trenches, mass foundations and grade for site development, land clearing, building pads, ditches, retention basins, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
* 3 + years of related experience
* Self-starter and customer focused
* Good communication and organization skills
