My Client is currently seeking to hire a Concrete Restoration Estimator/Project Manager. 60% of this position will be developing bids for restoration projects and the other 40% will be managing the project budget and timeline. The ideal Candidate will be responsible for creating bids & estimates, managing projects & budgets, reporting out and managing the progress of a project.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for estimating and managing commercial construction projects from start to finish
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to develop accurate cost estimates
- Analyze and interpret project blueprints, drawings, and specifications to accurately estimate material, labor, and equipment costs
- Prepare take-offs, the scope of work, and bid packages for commercial construction projects
- Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to obtain quotes
- Analyze bid results and prepare detailed proposals and cost estimates for clients
- Manage commercial construction projects from pre-construction to project completion, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Monitor project progress and communicate with clients, subcontractors, and project team members to ensure that project goals are met
- Develop project leads.
- Coordinate and manage all projects, and activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
- Ensure that project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports, is completed accurately and on time
Education & Experience:
- Minimum education level of a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or a related field
- The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience as a commercial construction estimator and be knowledgeable of project management principles
- Understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications
- Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs.
- A high degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with Specialty Contractors or a Self-Performing contractor
- Experience in sales/marketing a plus
- Strong leadership and management skills

Travel:
Travel to and from job sites is required. You will be compensated for travel expenses if applicable.
